This is why I am so glad that I don’t live in a climate where it snows!! I love visiting the snow but would not enjoy digging my car out every morning! I guess sometimes even those who live with snow and ice can be totally prepared for what the road conditions will be.

Her most recent album Circus has captive elephant and PETA is not happy about it.
A PETA rep writes, “As Britney is such a victim of the paparazzi and always complaining and crying about how she hates to be held up in her guarded house and can’t feel free, she of all people should be able to relate to the horror that captive animals go through when they’re used for entertainment. Except Britney chooses to perform, and the lifestyle just comes with it. Animals are ripped away from their mothers at a young age, kept in chains, and prodded with electric shock devices to make them perform.”

Holly Montag said she had no idea her sister eloped with Spencer Pratt. She She poured out her heart to MTV’s Hills after show. “I had a plane ride here to Toronto. I get off the plane, and I have 40 texts and emails. I knew they were down in Cabo, but I had no idea what was going on,” she said. “I never would’ve expected [a wedding]. “I am a little bit hurt,” she went on. “I want to hear what really happened. But whatever Heidi chooses, I support her. She’s my sister; I love her. I want her to be happy. Asked if she would’ve objected if she had attended the wedding, Holly said, “No, I wouldn’t. I mean, whatever Heidi chooses … she’s an adult. She’s a big girl and whatever makes her happy, I fully support.”

Britney says her new album is a lot “lighter” than last year’s Blackout. In her words-”They’re two totally different vibes,” she says. “This one has a lighter feel, a little bit more pop. Blackout is darker, edgier, more urban.”

I can’t wait for Thanksgiving! I love Pumpkin Pie and of course all the rest of the yummy food that goes along with it! I love the fall weather, the crisp air and the warm colors and smells. We usually host it at our house but this year my mom and Step-dad will host at their house. My 3 year old daughter loves to go to Grandma’s and Grandpa’s house. It will be my son’s first Thanksgiving!! He is 7 months old. My brother, sister in law and niece will go to my sister in laws parents house in Washington. That will a bummer because we will really miss them! We will all be together at Christmas though.

I was able to get out and shoot a round at Bridges golf course in San Ramon today.

This is one of my favorite courses to play in the winter.  With the very hilly terrain the course stays pretty dry all winter long.  This is definitely one of the hardest golf courses in the Bay Area.  The course was designed to play to designated hitting areas and if you miss one of these you are in big trouble, big trouble I say.  Most of my friends prefer to play at other golf courses.  Bridges has changed the golf course around to make it a little easier but for the experienced golfer it is a challenge.  The greens were in really good condition.  We played with a party of three and we were able to play around and about 3 1/2 hours.  It always seems like this golf course is a little slower than most and I think it has to do with two things, the price and the difficulty of the course.  I do not recommend this course for any beginner .  But if you are bad average golfer this would give you that unbelievable challenge… you’ll either leave hating this course or really enjoying a round.  It can only be one or the other, there is no middle ground on this one.
